Listen to Blake Lewis’ New Single - Break Anotha!

Finally! All you people who want to know what Blake’s song “Break Anotha” sounds like can listen to! I’ve listened to it a few times and I like it. I think it was what I was expecting from Blake and that’s a good thing in my book. I hate when people go against who they are just to try to sell records.

I like this song! I like it alot better than a certain song that start with a “T”.
I think it’s quite catchy. I only wish the chorus was a bit stronger.

This sounds like a song they offered to Justin Timberlake, which he didn’t want to do, so Blake did it. I don’t know. I guess it’s ok. I didn’t think he was a good singer on Idol, but he’s a good entertainer.

Fantastic song. It’s got a little bit of hip hop, a little bit of funk, a little bit of rock, even a little bit of ska thrown in. I absolutely adore the energetic pace. Blake’s voice sounds great, and his trademark beatboxing is present, which is great. I can really see Blake doing this song live and improvising on it, having fun with it. This song grows on you the more you listen to it!
I don’t see any ressemblance with Justin Timberlake. While it is true this song is in the same category of music, it is also in lines with Timberland and One Republic. Besides, you don’t hear drums and horns like that in the music that is being played on the radio right now! I think this song has great potential as a radio hit.
Give a little love to Blake - go visit his AOL Artist Page. :)
