Lyrix American Idol Clothing Collection
January 16, 2008 by Jeanne
American Idol clothing? Yep! I got a press release about Lyrix which is a brand of clothing extended through Lyric Culture, "a music-driven apparel company involving lyrical content on jeans, denim wear and accessories."
The clothing line was designed for girls ages 7-16 and will include tees, denim skirts, jackets and vests, velour hoodies and sweat pants inspired by songs performed on Idol such as "A Moment Like This," "Respect," "Bad Day" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." The retail prices will be between $24.00 and $58.00 USD.
Starting January 18th, the items will be available on-line at www.shoplyrix.com and in Federated unit Macy’s in early February 2008.
It could be cute. I don’t know if I would wear these things (I’m too old anyway) but I could see it being popular among the younger crowd.
Would you wear these clothes?

NOPE – these looks cheesy
I always wonder about the choices of the female contestants – I thoughttheir closthes were horrivbly unflattering. I wonder if they had to choose only from this clothing line before it was a clothing line and was just wardrobe.
No, no, I know the contestants have to buy their own clothes with a budget. But maybe… the stylists who advised them on what to wear are now the designers of this line.
I bought the August Rush t-shirt for my 13 year old, she loves it. It’s way cool along with the guitar pick necklace. (lyricculture.com). This is an innovative line of clothing, check it out.
This line is very cute and inspiring for the kids. I would definitely buy those clothes for my daughter.
Bought the jeans & tees for my 3 daughters 8,11,13..they luv them so do their friends
I’m surprised Macy’s is not doing more to advertise these more along with the Hannah Montana line as they fit in well together.
