Michael Johns on Mike and Juliet – Video

Former American Idol contestant, Michael Johns, was on Mike and Juliet this morning where he performed “Across the Universe” and talked a bit about Idol and his life since the show.  I wish he had sung like this on the show.  He seemed to clam up a bit after Hollywood Week and his “magic” just faded a bit.  He’s got the right look and voice but for some reason he just didn’t connect with the audience.  Too bad.

Oh come on now!! He was great for three weeks before he was eliminated, and at least the first week in the finals. Even Paula does not believe his elimination was legit, lol. Not a big deal anymore though, getting eliminated early served him better than getting axed later on down the line.

I love Michael Johns so so so so so so so much.
    SO much.
    It’s unreal.
I didn’t think David Cook sucked last week,
it definitely wasn’t my favorite by him.
But I didn’t think he was like terrible.
    But Michael…that is completely wrong.
He should NOT have been voted off.
    No way no how.
    He’s amazing.
    I cried when he left,
and every day since then when I think about it I cry!
I’m more upset than he is over it.
    Haha,
I know he’s going to be so unbelievably successful, I’m just gonna really miss him on the show so much.
I couldn’t bring myself to watch all of tonight’s episode.
David’s always been my second favorite, so I guess he’s my favorite now on the show.
I don’t love him NEAR as much as Michael, though.
    Not even close.
    Thanks for these videos:)

MJ is just too darn talented (and handsome) NOT to make it after this much exposure.
