Michael Sarver Eliminated on American Idol

Matt Giraud, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre were in the bottom three this week. Scott was the first to be sent back to the couch and then the results were revealed – Michael Sarver had the lowest number of votes.
He had to sing for his life and he did a better job than he did last night. There was an actual debate about whether to save him but Ryan kept reminded the judges that another show was coming on. Finally, Simon stopped the deliberations and without consulting the others, he told Michael that he was going home.
*sob* He’s such a good singer but he is an example of someone who makes poor song choices. I’m very, very sad for the first time tonight. At least he made it to the tour!
What do you think? Was it Michael’s time to go home? I think he just continued to make really bad song choices this week but his better performance tonight showed that maybe listening to Smokey Robinson’s advice got him into trouble last night.

Yes I agree that it is difficult to see anyone go as they are all great performers…I still have not got over the shock that Alexis Grace is gone.
i can’t believe scott was on the bottom 3!
yeah he gets kinda boring singing with the piano
but he has a great message to tell everyone
he just has to step up a little and he’ll be great
I liked Michael, but I never loved him. I think it was his time to go. The other performers are just better.
As for Scott being in the bottom three all I can say is…FINALLY!
I feel like I need to clarify…Michael was never a favorite of mine, so I’m okay with him being gone. I do, however, think he deserves to be there more than Scott or Megan. Both of them need to go. They are good, but just not great!
