A Soul Patrol Convention is coming up for a two-day event where Taylor’s fans can meet and raise funds together in Birmingham, Alabama from May 9-10, 2008. The event will be full of socializing, games, activities, raffles, food and entertainment.

Need a hint? I was at the Bluegill event with my family AND though I frequent most of the fan boards, TOSP is where I started and is my home site – come on now… think! TOSP is where you know me from and I witnessed everything I said about you – first hand. You were banned from that site and a couple others after that because you couldn’t keep your mouth shut. Wonder if Robyn could help jog your memory?!?

I have to say that this is all very disturbing. I would hate to say that anyone has won anything in all of this. I say that it is all about losing. All of this fighting and calling out someone like Karen from KOPS, who is doing a good thing? This is not funny. This should be reported. Neither Claudia and HFTS nor Bluzkat should be allowed to post their business on any of Taylor’s fansites. The language used, the hatefulness and the obvious wrong doings are hopefully not going to be carried over to effect Taylor. He should not have to associate with any of them.

That brings in all kinds of people that want to use his name to better themselves. Using Taylor and knowing that he is such a nice person just makes me sick. Why can’t the world be a nicer place? People got used and their money got taken. People were told lies about how these businesses operated and what their motives were and are. I feel sorry for the people that did all of this because they are in big trouble now. This will all work out in the end, now that this blog is bringing out the truth, but in the meantime, people got used and got hurt and some don’t even know it yet. That is not nice. At all!

Actually, the DVD has been cancelled and Amazon was sent an email to remove the listing…i do not own Harmony or received any money from anything they sold/tickets/merchandise or what have you. I lost money on my magazine actually a little under $5000.00 so those of you that are here must can’t do basic math 70 subscribers at $30.00 each equals $2100.00 about 60 bought the first issue on it’s own at $5.00 each $300.00 for a total of 2400.00 printing 250 copies of the first issue $5124.00 at FedEX Kinkos in Beverly Hills, CA that is -2724.00 loss plus -1750.00 in refunds you people who think I got rich off this whole thing are really retarded! I have moved on I think you should also….

Okay some good points here but here is my question.
This is a forum where anyone can post under any name. Heck I am not posting under my real screen name but then again I don’t post often anyway. There is just too much “drama” in some of these “clicks” of the SP.
How do you know that this entire thing isn’t just 2 people posting under different names? It’s all a game to them. If they were serious they wouldn’t be posting here but instead they would be phoning the IRS, The AG or their lawyer.
I have seen no PROOF of where Bluzkat has done anything wrong but I have seen PROOF that the convention that was held and the people involved need to answer some questions. These questions need to be answered in a timely manner. That was my reason for saying that I thought nothing had been proven against bluzkat.
The rumors about Bluzkat is just that “rumors” from people on a board that won’t state their true name. Don’t be so chicken. If you have proof of any wrong doing you need to present it in a “legal” way not under an assumed name on some stupid board. This become a liability to you because you are committing a crime if you cannot prove any of this. Please think about this.
As for the organization that put together the convention, you are ALL in trouble. When you applied for status as a non-profit you opened yourselves up a huge can of worms. As board members you are ALL responsible for all aspects of the non-profit. You cannot point fingers. I read above where on each meeting the President or CEO (choke) made each of you write down your name and position. Well folks, I am sure that he/she has printed out each of those and/or has kept records of these meetings. This will make all of you responsible for any wrong doings that have transpired. I sure hope that someone else kept notes of these meetings either by recording them or taking screen shots because as you all know in the cyber world anything can be altered.
I realize that many of you probably did this for 1 of 2 reasons or maybe both.
1. You wanted to try and get close to Taylor. (I am thinking this is probably the biggest reason) I have seen this happen with my own eyes! They think that if Taylor sees them he will either “fall” in love with them or want to be their “best friend”. Sad but true. There are a hell of a lot more SP’s that have been “dubbed” by board members or members of their “click”!
2. You really have met some nice people and you wanted to have an affair that all SP that attended would remember. (I think only those that didn’t attend felt this way)
I understand that many of you come from all walks of life and probably didn’t realize the problems that could come from this. You just wanted to “help” and really didn’t think before becoming active in this farce.
You can equate this being the President of your local youth sport league. Let’s say that one of your board members steal money. Because this crime was committed in 1 state it is usually handled by your local PD. Usually the PD doesn’t go after the board however what you don’t read in the newspaper is that usually the AG will go after the league. It is usually a fine for the board members but it is also a huge headache for the board members. In our state people involved in the above usually obtain insurance in the event of any wrong doing by any board member.
About the Non-Profit aspect of this. Claudia is wrong when she stated that they only need to report to the IRS on April 15th. Due to their status as a non-profit they must furnish any and all documents pertaining to “funds” within 14 days of a written request. The IRS usually won’t step in until 90 days however they frown upon hearing about any Non-Profit hiding their documents. Why would any organization refuse to release their financial documents? It just doesn’t make sense to me. If everything was done according to the rules set forth by the IRS they have nothing to hide. I don’t care if they are non-profit or not! They have a responsibility to fulfill any and all requests to “where in the hell did our money go?”
Now let’s get into the bigger picture here. I would suggest that if any of the board members are reading this, you contact a lawyer on Monday just to get some legal advice. You see this mess may seem small in your eyes but here’s the cold hard facts.
1. If any of the money was used for room and board, transportation etc for the any of the board members this is FRAUD. If these funds were used without the vote of the entire board or a quorum of board members, it is FRAUD. Any board members with knowledge of funds used has committed FRAUD.
2. This mess doesn’t involve only 1 state. This mess involves people throughout the US thereby making it a Federal Crime because transactions were done across State lines. Any SP member that has made donations to any of these organizations in questions can file a claim with their State AG office. Trust me, it will be investigated. Cyber crimes are #1 right now with most AG offices. You can also file a claim with the BBB. They will investigate (saves you a lot of money because they do the leg work for you) and if they find in favor of the member it will be recorded for public knowledge.
3. Contact the IRS. They frown upon things like this happening with Non-Profit groups. Trust me when I say that out of any of the agencies you get involved, the IRS will be their worst nightmare!
To end this part, I realize that many of you are innocent for many reasons and just wanted to do something good for the SP. You trusted people. That was your mistake. I think all of this basing on this site is uncalled for. The name calling, the finger pointing belongs in High School. Damn it you people are talking about crimes being committed and you have a responsibility to put the proof out there for all to see. If you don’t have the proof SHUT-UP because you are committing the worst crime of them all, defamation of character without warrant!
Claudia, you are a con artist IMO. I could see it months ago. A photographer? My 12 year old takes better pictures than you do. (This is not a slam but I would expect that if you were a professional as you state your pictures would be a lot better). You now say that the DVD will not be produced but the advertisement is already been placed. It has your name all over it. You had a magazine that went under but you say this happens all the time. BS. Most people have the capitol behind them BEFORE embarking on such a huge endeavor. You conned people out of money and you are just trying to cover your a** now. Give it up! All of this will come back and bite you. You have made a large number of people very angry and many of them are justified. Usually people DO NOT like to be conned! You make promises but you never fulfill them. This has happened with everything you have “stated” you have done for the SP. If there is anyone who can ask Taylor if he even knows Claudia (or does he think she is another SP stalker?) please for the sake of putting this to rest please do that. I think many of you will be surprised with his answer. I do think that from this point on anything that has to do with TAYLOR (not his fan groups) needs to be endorsed by Taylor. It may even get to the point that Taylor will have to “trademark” the SP name to stop any of this from happening. This would be the best thing because if he did that we would know that if we saw something with SP we would know that Taylor was backing it. Hell because of this Taylor may prevent anyone from using his name without written permission. Good going people!!!

The person posting under “Wow!!” is bluzkat. Now, that is funny. Complaining about how everyone is posting under another name and she does the same. The victims in all of this needed to be alerted. The people posting under the names bluzkat and tayfan1 have given reference to their websites, and bluzkat even left her phone number, I would think it would be her since no one would know that. Also, the writing styles are identical. I am sure that Jeanne has their IP address. As far as anyone doing anything, that is happening as we speak. No one has to reveal who and what they have done as they have been victimized. I would hesitate to say that bluzkat can not quit her posting and ranting thus, the new screen name. This is sad but also so revealing.

They took money that they raised from this auction for Kid One and gave it to NORMF. The proof is in Jamie’s own post from one of the TH boards – wannaknow found it and posted it here… This is the original post from Jamie saying the money was going to Kid One. Then SHE decides to donate the money elsewhere:

She couldn’t explain why she pulled money she promised the Firm would go to Kid One, that actually went to NORMF. It was not her choice to decide where the money went – it had already been decided by the Firm.

Trust is the issue here – when you are lied to, and the liar is not willing to admit you screwed up, it is hard to believe anything they say from that point on. Same with Harmony.

Let me say this, I do not know the players involved in all of this. I said in my post if bluzkat has done something wrong those with the information not attacks should turn it in. I only backed him/her because I only see 1 or 2 accusing them of anything however there are 100’s angry about the convention.
I happen to have been involved in a youth board where there was money taken so I speak from experience. A very hard learning experience. BTW the person who stole the money? He was a good friend of mine and a few other board members. What a slap in the face!

If this is true then I stand corrected however it should be reported. If what she did was wrong and against any laws report her! There was just so much to read here and I was aware of the problems with the convention.
The only reason I even came here is because of the convention and what I was reading. I was upset that they are non profit but yet refuse to release donation money. I was upset that in some circles Taylor was getting blamed.
In the future maybe any donations should be given directly to the charity of choice? I know I wouldn’t trust anything with SP name on it. There are some good honest people in the SP but those such as bluzkat and the people from the convention are being accused of “stealing” money from hard working people. That is a crime!

If i am not mistaken $30.00 X 70 is $2100.00 – $5.00 for the first issue each received = -1750.00 in refunds. I do have all paypal records to prove said sales. Funny first I am a con artist who I guess some of you say got rich and ripped people off, now I did not sale many magazines which is it?????
Also I was not banned from the fan sites I requested to be deleted alll anyone has to do is email the lead mods at TMS/the Boogie board and TOSP/ to find out the truth…in order to delete your account you have to request it through them exept TOSP i believe i was able to delete my own account there…also my THHQ was over April 16th and the way the site was run I did not care to renew my membership. Who really picks the FOTW any way because I doubt it is Taylor…I kind of see a theme with those selected.
Anyway it seems this whole thing is not about my magazine or the convention, just those who have something against me personally. Bluz was one of your biggest supporters until AFTER the convention flopped, then tried to act as if she wasn’t a supporter – that’s why she was brought up here – and all her pathetic innuendos about Taylor and Joni.
And you don’t have to just MAKE money on a venture to scam those involved. Just because you said you lost money on it doesn’t change the fact that you lied to people, took their money, sold a product you couldn’t pull off. That is a scam. I would hope you do in fact refund their money to them, but the fact remains that your business practices are shady to say the least.

Let me see I started a business printed the first issue, sent out the first issue to those that purchased and to those who subscribed. Went after advertisers had a hard time due to the “Modern Whomp” title changed it to Neo-Blue and got some intrest but too late to go into full production. So I let my subscribers know and closed my doors and have been issuing refunds. So where is the scam again?????
Is all this really about me having credentials knowing how to obtain them and getting interviews. Is it only regarding Taylor because I have also interviewd Alicia Keys, Anthony Hamilton, Ms. K Cole, Robin Thick, and Joe McIntyre regarding his last solo album before the NKOTB reunion. I also covered the AMA’s, Grammy’s, and ESPY awards. What is the deal…all you have to do is start your own publication get it registered and write to the media department of each event or contact the artists pubicist through the lable, it is not rocket science!!!
I have worked in and around the entertainment industry a lot in my life and I knew the channels to go through…am I being attacked because of that if so that is really strange….

You’re calling others retarded when even a kid knows to figure in how much the lemonade costs before he has a lemonade stand. Dont tell people that you didn’t go to Kinkos and ask for a printing quote before you put a price on the magazines. You didn’t lose money. Anybody can type out figures. Doesn’t mean the figures are right. You spent the money instead of shipping the magazines out. Someone that takes charity money to buy a BlackBerry meant for a womans shelter isn’t believable anyway.

1. First of all, she flipped what she meant to say. Would this be called a Freudian slip? Bluzkat lives in California. Wow is saying that she lives thousands of miles away from Alabama. How do you know this to be fact? Do you have proof? For all we know YOU are the one going under different screen names. It’s been my experience that the first one to cast stones is usually the guilty one.
Everything on this blog is only speculation and nothing has been proven. All any of you have is words and I have yet to see any proof.
Perhaps all should rethink and come back with some evidence. This is all getting boring.

1. First of all, she flipped what she meant to say. Would this be called a Freudian slip? Bluzkat lives in California. Wow is saying that she lives thousands of miles away from Alabama. This is obviously where she forwarded her message, to someone in Alabama. So that her IP would show, ALABAMA. Instead, she stated that she lives thousands of miles away from Alabama. Oh Mercy! I have just split my pants in laughter. So, “Wow”, you live thousands of miles away from Alabama, do you? Would that be California? hahahahahaha! Who lives in Alabama? One of your cat buds?
Are you psychic? If you are there is a woman in Chicago that is missing by the name of Stacy Peterson, could you please tell us where she is? It sure would be appreciated.
For the last time I am NOT bluzkat! I thought she was from Ala. and had no idea she lived in Ca. Guess what? I live 1000’s of miles from there too! That’s how much I know about this person.

I am closing the discussion portion of this post at midnight tonight. I’m letting you know so that you can have a chance to respond to something.
I will also say that I am happy to have left this open so that you can voice your concerns. However, the event has now passed and I’m not sure how many times we can discuss the same points over and over again.

The Trademark only pretains to merchandise and is only specific to concert related items. Trademarks are very specific. Claudia is well within her legal right to use the name. She can also print up t-shirts and sell them in stores with Modern Whomp on them. As long as they don’t indicate anything directly regarding Taylor, sold at venues or carry any logo on them that indicates musical recordings or advertising concerts.
Taylor can’t Trademark the actual phrase “Modern Whomp” just like he can’t Trademark “Soul Patrol”.

I have been receiving emails of posts and I have seen alot of different points of view. I received Jeanne’s last post today after work and I agree that this is getting nowhere. Not all people are going to agree. I do however, have something that I would like to say. I am not going to get personal but want to say that I always got along with Claudia but with all of the problems that I feel were her mistakes and alot of mistakes from Harmony…then, the magazine, well, IMO, I believe that if Claudia comes clean on some of the issues and I know she has admitted some of the problems but, just apologize then so many that got burned would at least not feel so compromised. I certainly don’t want to see someone crash and burn. Emotionally, there are consequences to having done wrong things and sometimes it can destroy a person and I don’t think anyone wants to see her destroyed. I don’t. Also, Bluzkat had a harmonica jam for kids and I went to take a look at the video. I think what she did was successful. I know that the biggest beef anyone has had with her is the whispering. I think if Bluzkat would just bite the bullet and not be so snarky…then, she would be accepted more. I don’t want to see her crash and burn either. I feel that everyone should have a second chance. Even though she and I have not gotten along…I don’t doubt that she is doing a good job to the best of her ability. I would do things differently on both accounts but we are all not alike, as stated above. I just don’t want to see anyone get emotionally knocked down into the dirt face down…and even though I am profound in my opinions…I also have a heart. I have been angry from time to time and with good reason…and I don’t mince words. This blog, to me, has opened that can of worms and I believe it was good to hear what everyone thought and also to find out information. Jeanne is a good egg. I will check out her blog. I also think she is fair. I belong to a blog where the owner of that blog is also fair. That is where I lay my hat. So, for all out there that have been angry and hurt for things that have been personally done to them or a friend…I personally think it is time to bury the hatchet. It is a rough world to live in right now…and money does not come easy. I do expect honesty when dealing with anyone out there in the world…and when someone is in a business the biggest lesson they can learn is to be NICE to those that can make or break you. Well, nuff said, just want Claudia and Bluzkat to know that I wish them the best in the future and hope that others will come thru with the same positive message. I am no pushover…but, I do worry about women and their futures. We have to stick together thru thick and thin. Later folks…
