Pinoy Idol – Sue Ellen Eliminated Last Night
Seventeen year old Sue Ellen of Iloilo City was eliminated last night on Pinoy Idol (formerly Philippine Idol). She was voted off following her performance of the Regine Velasquez song “Dadalhin.” During the season she also sang Natasha Bedingfield’s hit single “Love Like This” and I thought she had some timing issues and pitch problems but I think that with experience she could be really good. Sue is not the best candidate to bet on in a strong singing competition like the GMA’s philippine idol. she simply lacks the ultimate winning formula that could capture the hearts of the many. however, if not in a competition, and performing a style of her own, i personally believe that she could define herself as a lovable performing artist. honestly, of all the idols, i like her best. i love her voice and the way she sings. if she makes a record, i would surely buy one. but most of important of all, she has a unique beauty and aura that projects happiness. her eyes glitters and sparkles… and… soothes my tired body here in Abu Dhabi. I just wish, my dear Sue, will always be on TV. after all, she’s the only reason, why i came to like GMA’s philippine idol.
