Post-Finale American Idol Interviews with Kris and Adam

The season is over and Kris Allen was named this year’s winner of American Idol. Of course, it’s the day after and there are interviews with them popping up all over the internet. My friend, Zack Taylor, has a great collection of interviews with Blake Lewis, Bo Bice, Simon Cowell and more (check it out!).
In this FOX NY interview, I thought Kris was pretty adorable (okay, he’s pretty adorable all the time – I love his humility!) as he talked about how winning Idol could change his life and his global missionary efforts.
Adam maintains that, at no point last night, was he disappointed in any way. He stressed that they were both winners (and, for once, it seemed like someone actually meant that when they said it).
The interviewer also asked how they felt about their nicknames, “The Guy Next Door” (Kris) and “Guyliner” (Adam). Adam nodded his head and said “it’s appropriate” and I seriously cracked up. I love that!
Also, TMZ stopped Idol judge, Randy Jackson, and asked him what he thought about the results. He basically said that America never gets it wrong. Check it out:

I have a mad crush on Adam too. And it’s not just his performances and amazing voice, it’s him – the way he carries himself, the things he says – his personality is that of a STAR! I just wanna love him.
