Never underestimate the power of the fans! Apparently, Katharine McPhee lovers are outraged by American Idol’s failure to include Katharine in this season’s finale. They have decided to do something about it. Some die-hard fans have created this Kit Kat logo and are sending the candies and a note out to all the Idol execs to show their support. Supposedly, Kat’s mom Peisha McPhee suppports ‘Project Kit Kat!’ Click here for more information on how you can get in on the action!

If I were a Major Kat fan I’d be pretty mad. They made room for Green Day on the finale, yet the runner-up of last year’s AI was denied? That’s cruel.

I’m a loyal Kat fan and this is a great way to let Idol executives know how much KAT was missed this season. The fans are pissed and with good reason. McPhans are very upset about Kat being the only top finalist from last year who didn’t perform on Idol this season. Since she was the 1st Runner Up, if anybody deserved to be there, it was Kat.

Thanks for the plug about this project. The Idol franchise should strive to support all their artists and not play favorites. It doesn’t sit well with the fans. Multiple Idol fan sites are participating, including katharinefans.com which has around 5,000 members. Rock on!!!

I can certainly understand why Kat fans are ticked off. She should have been included. In fact, AI upset a lot of fan bases this year. Glad to see the fans taking action.
