Ricki-Lee Coulter Returns to Australian Idol

Australian Idol is bringing back one of their former contestants but she won’t be competing. Instead, Ricki-Lee Coulter will serve as a third host alongside Andrew G and James Mathison. She will be bringing audiences backstage as she interviews contestants. I love that idea!
In a recent interview she said: “I’ve have been through what these guys will go through and came out the other end. I will be more of a mentor to them, a shoulder to cry on when they are feeling happiness, excitement or when they are upset,” she said. “It’s an exciting and amazing opportunity and each year has just been getting better and better for me. Presenting is what I love to do and this is a great step forward for me.”
Well, I think she has the right look, the experience as a contestant and the enthusiasm to bring a little freshness to the new season. Can’t wait!

I agree, this is awesome news – I’m a huge Ricki-Lee fan – this will most likely give her a chance to grow her fan base too!!
