Ryan and Paula at the 2008 Emmy Awards

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held last night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California and the event was partly hosted by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest.  Ryan’s hosting duties were assisted by Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Jeff Probst and Tom Bergeron, all of whom were nominated for an award in the category for Best Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program.

Sadly, Ryan didn’t win the award for best host. Instead Jeff Probst, host of Survivor, won the category. Also, American Idol was nominated for an award for Best Reality-Competition Program, despite being the most watched show on television, it lost to The Amazing Race.

Paula Abdul was seen at the Walt Disney concert hall attending the Entertainment Tonight Emmy party which was hosted by People magazine. I like the dress she wore. I think the color looks great with her skin tone.
