Ryan Seacrest Gives Paycheck Back

Ryan Seacrest was feeling charitable from what I’ve heard.  He hosted the Idol Gives Back special on Sunday and then donated his paycheck for the night to charity. People magazine is reporting that Ryan wanted to “show fans that he was serious about the cause.” 

“When he and Simon went to Africa last year and saw the children, it was really life-altering for him,” says the source. “He just knew he had to do his part and be willing to put his money where his mouth is.”

Wow.  It may not seem like a lot but I’m sure that Ryan gets a good amount just for hosting Idol but probably gets more for these special events.  Good for him (and the charity)!
