Ryan Seacrest Says There Will Be No Idol Catfights
I’m not sure I understand why this is such a big deal. Everyone is talking about the addition of a fourth judge, Kara DioGuardi, to the popular singing competition, American Idol. There’s all sorts of speculation as to whether Paula Abdul and Kara are going to duke it out and scratch each other up or something. This isn’t the first Idol show to have four judges and I’d like to give it a chance before we already tear it down. I’m looking forward to it, actually. I would really hate if there were only three judges on Canadian Idol.
Host, Ryan Seacrest, felt it necessary to add his commentary to the discussion: “Let’s clear the air. Paula and Kara are great together. They used to live together and Paula helped her out years ago. Now the two of them are on the same team.”
Of course, Simon Cowell, couldn’t resist adding a little fuel to the fire: “I love catfights. I encourage them. It’s no fun if everyone gets along.”
At least I’m interested in the show again

As much as it pains me to say this, you need to add Kara to the Judges/host category.
