Shalla sent me this wonderful poem she wrote for Clay Aiken. It’s really fabulous. Read it for yourself!
Darlin do you know how
Your eyes twinkle when you smile
Do you realize when you sing
My world pauses for awhile
When you tug on your shirt
You cause butterflies inside
These years with you my dear
Has been the most amazing ride.
Darlin do you even know
Your faith inspired me to believe
Do you understand your the hero
Noone expected the world to recieve
Do you know how your love for a child
Brings tears to americas eyes
Do you know my how we hold our breath
Waiting for your next surprise
I never doubted you
Not for one blink of the eye
The emotion you put in everything
Always seems to make me cry
Thank you for what youve given me
Thank you for everything you do
Clay, please know that no matter what
Were always here, always supporting you.

Shalla, your poem is so lovely. It truly expresses how we all feel about our magical pretend boyfriend. “Always here, always supporting you”.
