Simon Cowell on American Idol Top 24 Decisions

by Jeanne on February 14th, 2008

American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, was definitely opinionated last night during the final round of Hollywood Week.  I really enjoyed it and prefer to see him so passionate about the decisions.  Of course, he mentions Taylor Hicks (whom he has never seemed to like).

What do you think?  Sound off and tell me who should have made it and who you couldn’t believe was put through!

Watch Simon talk about it on Extra:

I think there is some real potential with this group of 24. My 3 favorites made it through so I’m happy :)
The Filapino girl, Remiele (hope I spelled it right) is going to be one to watch for too. She is really good with her tiny self. The battle of South Florida is on. Her fan base down here is just as big as Syesha’s :)

Ok, who thought Paula was torturing those poor people? She kept going on and on and poor Brooke was in tears.

I knew the little homeless boy would get rejected, he was over confident as Simon said. Poor guy. I was really surprised that Simon prefered the guy with the glasses at the end over the guy they chose.

Anyway, let’s see what happens. I think it will be very interesting. But the real question is, who will VoteForTheWorst choose this season especially now that Gahlib is out the picture! Hmmmm

I was happy with most of the people who made it through. I was just disappopinted that Josiah didn’t make it through. I thought he should have been given a chance.

And, yeah. Paula was sorta getting under my skin with the way she was torturing everyone with how long she was taking to give them an answer! Sheesh.

Amy Davis’ (Only sibling ) Older sister posed for playboy. Also to many people who know her from her home town. She did not have a struggling single mother.. They lived comfortably in a large home in upper middle class. Sob Stories and titties always get you on.

I cant complain too much because I have a ton of favorites, but if Josiah had made it….well I probably wouldnt know who to vote for! I also think it’s ridiculous that that Colton kid made it in over Kyle Ensley, who was clearly better. But I think the producers have a strategy there, because the other kid seems forgettable but Kyle could’ve become a Kevin Covais or a Sanjaya, and they’re obviously trying to avoid that.

Anyways I think it’s amusing that Simon is daft enough to think that through 6 years the show has EVER been talent over popularity.

The show’s abuse of Taylor Hicks is obvious and sickening. The AI folks are wealthy and powerful, yet they mistreat one of the winners of the show that helped make them the fat cats that they are. Their unprofessional behavior undermines the credibility of the competition.

Simon is the best part of American Idol…how dare Ryan “Salamandra” Seacrest
finishes the show without thanking Simon for his presence…How rude were the contestants, totally unable to accept criticism…Shame on Arrogant rock ‘n roll guys…
