That father reminded me of my husband - present a calm exterior while being ripped apart inside and wanting not to breakdown infront of so many people. I would hate to think that the family was unappreciative of Simon. Maybe they were just so overwhelmed that they couldn't smile and be happy...I don't know but geez.
