SonyBMG U.K. Not McPheeling “Over It”??

McOuch! Okay, that was lame but give me a break, it’s way past my bedtime and I’m tired. Anyway, there are reports coming in saying that SonyBMG has decided not to release Katharine McPhee’s single, “Over It” in the U.K.

I hope this isn’t true. I actually like that song. I’m singing it right now. It’s catchy, commercial and a summer song. Why would they do that?

There are tons of reports that this rumor is false but I’m gonna leave it up in case - plus I like hearing what you guys think!

I’m confused. I’ve heard the single on the radio many times. Hasn’t it already been released? Wasn’t it the first single on the CD?

Hey TallFreak - the single won’t be released by Sony U.K. It’s in the title but I think I should have made it more clear in the actual post ;)

    Sorry!

That’s interesting…It’s already on itunes UK. hmm. http://www.popjustice.com/ were the first to report the news, and then they said they were mistaken. It’s so confusing.

It is confusing, Jas. I mean, it’s a good song and I know popjustice took it back but now other outlets are saying it, yet, as you said, it’s on itunes UK.

How do these reports get started?

I’m guessing others saw the popjustice report before they edited it. Then again, the word is nothing’s really set in stone at the moment.
