She’s #1 on the Top Heatseekers chart with her first album, “Princess P.” Paris is the 27th “Idol” singer to appear on the Billboard charts, and by capturing pole position, she gives the franchise its 122nd No. 1, counting all national, domestic charts compiled by the Billboard Information Group. Kelly Clarkson is getting a little support from the man who helped her get her start. Simon Cowell, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, weighed in on the controversy surrounding Kelly’s new album, My December. Here’s part of what he had to say:

Kelly Clarkson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live the other night and confirmed that her new album “My December” will be released on June 26, 2007. That’s great news for Kelly fans!

Did you enjoy Michael Buble’s performance last night on American Idol? It’s amazing how good this guy is. If you’re not familiar with him and like Harry Connick, Jr.’s old school stuff, you’ll probably like Buble as well.
Of course, if you like crooners like Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, you’ll more than likely be a fan of Michael Buble too.

Can’t believe I missed this one after highlighting that Fantasia’s album was available on December 12th. Taylor Hick’s full album was available on the 12th as well.
I’ve got his music playing in the background as I’m working on the computer. I think if you liked Taylor before, this album just continues the feel good music and showcases his talent as an artist.
I really like “The Runaround” and “The Right Place”.
