Why Idol Auditions Should Allow Instruments Part 1

Here is one glaring example of why American Idol should allow the use of instruments during auditions (Australian Idol and Canadian Idol allow it).
Carly Rae Jepsen, 21 from Mission, B.C. So unique, so fresh, so creative. Can’t believe that’s an original song. She’s great!!!

Canadian Idol Best Female Audition - Jessica Sheppard

Jessica Sheppard, 21, of Bowmanville, ON wowed the judges when she auditioned for Canadian Idol. She doesn’t mess up, by the way. The judges just wanted her to get to a certain point in the song.
It’s bad quality but you can hear her just fine!

Canadian Idol Best Male Performance - Sam Romijn

Here’s an admittedly poor quality video of Sam Romijn’s audition for this season of Canadian Idol. Why is he so great??? Because he is sooooo Canadian! I think he’s immensely talented and unique. Just great!

Fox Has Loads of Audition Photos Online

You can absolutely get your American Idol still photo fix on the Official Fox American Idol website.
There are currently 10 categories from the various locations and over 2,000 photos available. The collection above is just a sample, plenty more where that came from if you know what I mean!
