Okay, now we’re back from the fourteenth million commercial break and in to the 2nd hour of the premiere.
First up is someone doing the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz. Go back to Oz. You’re not that unique and you can’t sing. See you later. Use the right door. Oops…she didn’t.
Vocal teacher in green shirt, you’d hope this guy can sing. “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing” by Aerosmith. He uses a pitch pipe. You’d expect that from a vocal coach wouldn’t you. OUCH! High pitch noises in falsetto, I can’t take it! Randy is really being hardcore. …read more
Chris Already Getting Offers

This article states that Chris Daughtry was contacted in the past by the group Fuel, to be their new frontman. Seems like after he performed their song, “Hemorrhage”, their song shot up to the Top 10 Download list on iTunes and the band contacted him at that point.
Guess discussions never really went anywhere. I’m sure the Idol producers wouldn’t let much action take place with Chris actively on the show. However, since Chris was suprisingly voted off on Tuesday night, Fuel’s bassist, Jeff Abercrombie stated the following on the TV show “Extra”.
