Daughtry Performs "Home" on Fox’s New Year’s Live – Video

Daughtry performed their first huge single “Home” at the Mirage’s “Revolution Lounge” and I thought it was kind of a sketchy performance.  I love Daughtry but it sounded like Chris Daughtry was having a bit of an off-night.  What do you think?

Thousands Welcome Melinda Doolittle

Several thousand people gathered on the campus of Belmont University this morning, some arriving as early as 6 a.m., to welcome American Idol Top 3 semifinalist Melinda Doolittle back to her alma mater. Doolittle, who was once the college mascot, graduated in 1999.
Melinda, who rode through the streets of Brentwood, Tennessee in a white Mustang convertible, wiped away tears as she looked out at the crowd, many of whom were wearing “Belmont Hearts Melinda Doolittle” gear. Ear-piercing shrieks followed Lewis down Main Street to Bothell Landing, where fans ignored police requests to stay back. The crowd weaved between cars stopped on Bothell Way and state Route 527.

Week 1 Results Show

I’m watching the results show now. I love this show, but this is the epitome of taking the most time to say nothing. There’s nothing new shared at all on this show, just the best clips.
The only thing interesting is seeing all of them perform the group songs. The hardest workers in all of this though are the sound guys that are managing the mix for 24 different vocalists with very different volume and power.
HEY! Paul Kim has shoes on!
24 is just a huge group. I like it, but it just seems odd.

Surprisingly they are jumping right …read more
