Totally Uncool Radio Interview with Katharine McPhee

Thanks to Idol Stalker visitor, OMG KAT FAN, I’ve been directed to a radio interview with American Idol runner-up, Katharine McPhee. It is not cool and OMG Kat Fan wanted everyone to write in to the DC-based radio station Hot 99.5 and complain. It wasn’t even funny – it was just tasteless. If you are going to make fun of someone, at least make it hilarious. Sheesh! I am amazed that Katharine actually stayed on the phone – it sounded like she had already had a bad day and was tired.

Katharine McPhee Teams Up With Hillary Clinton

The “Hillary for President” campaign announced, on their MySpace page, that 10-time Grammy winner, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, and American Idol finalist, Katharine McPhee, will perform for Hillary Clinton and a crowd of thousands at the kick-off of Club 44 in Washington, DC on June 6, 2007. Actress and comedian, Caroline Rhea, will serve as the emcee at this family-friendly event.

“Club 44 is the campaign’s effort to identify and mobilize young women voters who support Hillary Clinton for president. According to a study by the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning & Engagement (CIRCLE), in 2004, 12.5 million women between ages 18-24 were eligible to vote. “

Wow. This is major for Kat – way to go! Forget getting snubbed at the finale – you’ve been invited to perform by Hillary Clinton!!!

Katharine McPhee was at the BMI awards (pic in the center) and I read an article about it and I could not resist but share what I read. The columnist, Marc Malkin of E! Online, said that when Katharine walked by him, he could have sworn she was Katie Holmes. Then, he said that when Katharine took the stage to perform, he thought he was looking at Fran Drescher! I had to share this pic with you. I totally see it!
