When I first heard about this song, I have to admit that I got it confused with the Tim McGraw hit “Live Like You Were Dying” but after hearing Kris Allen’s new single “Live Like We’re Dying” it’s clear that these songs are nothing alike.

Kris Allen, the newest American Idol winner, was on Live With Regis and Kelly yesterday morning.  He was so charming, humble and adorable and I just find it so hard to not be happy for him.  He talked a bit about how talented the Top 13 was this year, how he talk himself to play the guitar one summer and how he used to enjoy watching the Idol auditions because they were hilarious.

The newest American Idol, Kris Allen, will be on Ellen tomorrow (but these videos are already up!) where he sat down with her and talked about the experience and also performed his new single “No Boundaries” and his revamped version on Kanye West’s “Heartless.”
I thought that Kris sounded a little more comfortable performing “No Boundaries” (the key was a little lower than it had been on that final performance show).  He actually made it a lot more likable.  What do you think?
