So, it was pretty clear that Blake Lewis was uncomfortable singing that final song and he confirmed his displeasure when he said the following about “This is My Now” – “It’s definitely not my style, a song I would never sing if I didn’t have to. And I honestly think they should have had two songs that were tailored to both of us.”

Were the Chosen Songwriters Really Undiscovered?

Ugh, this just gets worse by the second. I cannot even keep up with it all. American Idol did something new this year by asking America to vote for the best “finale song” which was to be written by “undiscovered songwriters.” Well, my friends, the song that seemed written for Jordin does not seem to be the work of amateurs.
