Incredibly, Paula Abdul has managed to remain fairly silent about everything that has been happening since she shockingly announced her departure from American Idol on Twitter.  In her first real interview since dropping that little bombshell, Paula spoke to TV Guide in an attempt to clear the air.

She claims that she didn’t leave because of her reportedly lower salary.  “I stand on principle where many people stand on money,” Paula said.

It’s a veritable Paula Abdul frenzy all over the internet.  You seriously can’t go to a site without some Paula-related story popping up at some point in the day.  It’s insane but you gotta admit that the lady sure does know how to generate buzz!
There’s talk that Paula could be a guest on Ugly Betty.  EW.com says that the details are being kept a secret but that she might play a new temp at Mode who becomes friendly with Amanda (Becki Newton).  I guess that could work but I have to admit that I’ve lost interest in the show.  Any …read more
