On Sunday, Jordin Sparks stepped up on the field at the Arizona Cardinals NFL game and did the honors of singing the national anthem. The home team was playing against the San Francisco 49ers, at the University of Arizona Stadium.  Jordin looked cute and I’m liking that color on her but…I guess she forgot to put her shoes on?

I’ve got some pictures here of a dashing Randy Jackson presenting an award with Regina Taylor at the 2009 NAACP Awards, held at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. Jennifer Hudson was also there performing the song “The Impossible Dream” and accepting four awards last night.
She chose to go with an all black outfit. I’m not completely sold on the dress, but I thought she was definitely wearing a hot pair of shoes and her hair looked great! Were you digging J-Hud’s style?

Oh my goodness. Okay, I understand that he was a phenomenon that no one understood this season but when Sanjaya Malakar was compared to John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King jr. and Ghandi, I was mildly offended. I actually like Sanj but they went too far! Oh well. It was entertaining since they got the crying girl to come back and she delivered. Get that girl some valium!!!

Katharine McPhee was at the BMI awards (pic in the center) and I read an article about it and I could not resist but share what I read. The columnist, Marc Malkin of E! Carrie Underwood continues to dominate in the music world. At the 42 Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Carrie took home the goods in the Top Female Vocalist, Album of The Year (Some Hearts) and Video of The Year (Before He Cheats) categories.
