Have you ever gone out for dinner or done grocery shopping and then faced a horrifying moment when your credit card was declined?  I know that I’ve certainly had that happen but I was surprised to read that American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, recently had a similar experience.

Piers Morgan, who you may know best as one of the judges on America’s Got Talent, has a book coming out and, in it, he describes and encounter that he and American Idol judge, Simon Cowell, had a couple years ago with the Queen of England and her husband, Prince Philip.
According to Monsters and Critics, in 2007 at a Royal Variety Performance, the 82-year-old monarch was introduced to Simon but, judging from the look on her face, she did not recognize him.
