Some of you have complained about the voting system on American Idol and you’ve said the Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) procedure is better.
Currently, Idol viewers can vote as many times as they can get through during the specified time period. I went to Wikipedia and here’s what I got for the DWTS system:

I don’t know what to say anymore. Seriously. I’ve tried to be fair – diplomatic even, at the expense of some of my sanity. I think that part of the reason for it was that, with the exception of Gina Glocksen, I’ve more or less agreed with the progression of the show. Now, with Haley Scarnato gone, I am becoming more uneasy. When there were other people who, on some level, were as “bad” as Sanjaya, I got a bit of a laugh out of the situation. Did the American public make a mistake last week voting off some of the contestants? Which one didn’t deserve to go? Too bad it’s too late to do anything about it now, unless the producers decide to pull a wild-card on us later this season.
The only thing we can do now is cross our fingers and hope the ones we really wished had been voted off will be this week.
So who will it be? Be sure to let us know in our current poll. No excuse me while I continue to repeatedly vote (okay, only once) for Sanjaya Malakar.
