Okay. I have no opinion about this either way so let’s just get that out of the way first. Second, I think that Jordin Sparks is a talented girl and a worthy contestant on American Idol. That said, I have wondered in the past how she has remained on the show after certain performances (like Bon Jovi week, ugh) but I am in no way, shape or form suggesting that this is the reason for Jordin’s votes. Season 4 American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, has a confirmed 2007 People’s Choice Award nomination for Favorite Female Singer. She’s be going up against fellow country music looker, Faith Hill.
She’s also nominated for Favorite Country Song for “Before He Cheats”
