William Balfour has been indicted on the four counts he was charged with in relation to the murders of American Idol finalist, Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew, 7-year-old Julian King.  A hearing is set for January 20, 2009.
Balfour has formally been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion.  Personally, if he’s guilty, I hope he never gets out of prison.  The crime he committed was so heinous, particularly concerning the cold-blooded murder of that little boy. 
He has denied any involvement in the crimes.

Police have formally arrested William Balfour, the brother-in-law of American Idol star, Jennifer Hudson, in connection with the murder of her mother and brother and seven-year-old nephew, Julian King. 
William, the estranged husband of Jennifer’s sister, Julia, was already in jail for a parole violation when he was charged.  Last month, it was discovered that he possessed a gun that matched the one used in crimes.  This story is so sad on so many different levels.  I hope the Hudson family can begin to find some peace in all of this sorrow.
