Taylor’s Band Keeps Rocking It
AL.com (Alabama.com) is running a story focussed on Taylor Hicks’ old band. Recently renamed from The Taylor Hicks Band to the Little Memphis Blues Orchestra, the band is incredibly supportive of Taylor:
Although no one is certain of Hicks’ fate on the show - he’s currently a favorite among six finalists — the man nicknamed Gray Charles is unlikely to revert back to his previous career, scraping and scrambling on the Alabama bar circuit.
Such a prospect doesn’t faze Hicks’ bandmates, who say they’re happy for their friend’s success and supportive of whatever decisions he might make in the future.
“We all want what’s best for Taylor,” Gunderson says.

why didn’t Taylor recorded some of the older ballads that he sang on American Idol.. the songs that I voted for him.. it really let the fans down that voted for him
