The Carrie Underwood Report - May 17, 2007
Carrie Underwood continues to dominate in the music world. At the 42 Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Carrie took home the goods in the Top Female Vocalist, Album of The Year (Some Hearts) and Video of The Year (Before He Cheats) categories.
I have to admit, I liked her while she was on the show but I was not a huge fan of hers at the time. I thought she was a real stiff performer (she’s still working on it) but could not deny her singing ability. She has definitely proven herself as one of the most successful American Idol winners. Congratulations, Carrie! By the way, she totally deserved to win for the video for “Before He Cheats.” That video (and song) is awesome!

So, I am guessing that this photo is a confirmation of all of the rumors. Carrie asked Tony Romo to be her date to the awards ceremony. They do look nice together, dontcha think?
When asked, Carrie and Tony had the following to say:
Carrie said “We’re really good friends and we hang out and we support each other and everything that we do and it’s great to have somebody here who’s got your back.”
Tony said “We’re just getting to know each other a little better and we’ll see where everything goes, but it’s just nice to have somebody at the end of the day to talk to who is going through similar things. She’s got a great personality, so she’s really easy to talk to… (and) she loves to talk on the phone.”
Uh huh. It almost sounds like these two love birds practiced those answers. I hope it all works out. All Carrie’s missing is a love life.

I am not a devoted country music fan. However, I will sit down and listen to some Carrie Underwood songs. That girl is a hard worker and has some serious talent. As for her and Tony Romo, I hope it works out. They do look cute together.

This “relationship” between her and Tony is as phony as her teeth and hair extensions. Matches the fake personality she oozes as well. I guess when your as desperate as Carrie and her promoters are you’ll stoop to anything to make it look like someone actually likes this bore.
I’m glad Kellie Pickler doesn’t have to be a phony like this since she is in a serious relationship with a sports figure who truly loves her. But then Kellie always was more appealing.

ZigZag - as cranky as you have been elsewhere on this site, I could not help but crack up at this last comment. Phony teeth and hair extensions?? Hilarious. I don’t know if I completely agree with your point of you but, this time, you definitely got my attention and provided some entertainment.
p.s. I like Jordin Tootoo a lot too so I hope it works out well for Kellie. He’s a really good guy and has a lot of strength.
