Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire performed Kelly’s hit “Because of You” on the 42 Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. I liked parts of it.

What do you think? I like the coloring and the drama but I don’t think it looks very much like Kelly Clarkson. In fact, I’m not sure who it looks like!
Ummm. Okay. Never really imagined that this duet could be possible: Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson? Well, it sounded…different. Maybe it’s just me.

ouch. considering all of kelly’s recent controversies, i wonder how she felt playing second fiddle to reba on her own song?

Amen, Gina. I was thinking the same thing. When Kelly came in on the second verse, it sounded awkward and her audio was wonky. I could totally see how that cover reminds you of Amy Lee. It looks straight out of an Evanescence video!
