TMZ Challenges American Idol Voting Recap

March 20, 2008 by Jeanne

TMZ has shown that the recaps we see at the end of American Idol are not from the actual live performances.  Okay… Do you care about this?  I’m not sure it really bothers me but I’m also pretty easygoing about this.  I either liked the performance or not and I can remember whether I liked it and I don’t think a 15 second blurb is going to change that.  What do you think?

Old news and the producers have fessed up in their media pressers.

Yeah TMZ is late on this one. I figured that out a few seasons ago. TMZ is like a virus they spread stuff that’s not true all the time and they make a mountain out of molehills way too often. This silly thing they are reporting is just dumb b/c it makes no difference at all.

  3. Bouffe says:

I’ve noticed that long ago… And I don’t really care. Those who votes probably don’t watch the recaps anyway.

  4. Kristen King says:

I’m sorry, they JUST noticed that? Little slow on the uptake?

I really don’t think it matters.

  5. Jean says:

Must be a slow news day. This is a logistical problem and Ai has always done this. I don’t see the problem, the recap is supposed to be a memory tickler, not the full performance.

One more gossip site proves that there is no real scoops anymore, just stuff they recycle or make up.
