Top 10 Talk About Life After American Idol
It was really interesting to hear the Top 10 talk about what life has been like since American Idol ended. They all mentioned something about being recognized and the things that people say to them (someone actually told Ramiele Malubay that she looks taller on television!). Carly Smithson talked about being overwhelmed by all of the attention.
I’m not trying to be rude but I hope they enjoy this time while they can since, statistically, Idol finalists (and sometimes winners) disappear really quickly from the public eye. I would be soaking up every minute of it!

Does it seem like the contestants have more, well different personalities this year. I’m mean, they are all so different from eachother but that seems to work well when they are together. I think they are a fun bunch.

I think they are relieved that AI finally helped them to reach their goal. But I have to agree with Jean. Their fame is short lived. Wait until the new crop is unleashed next year.

LOL, Jeanne funny but true…so true I mean look at Blake…he already got dropped! Sanjaya and his fans thought he was the best thing since sliced bread and that he would be uber famous after idol…look at him now doing bar mitzvah’s…I have to agree that this is a “different” crop of idols and personally I don’t think they sound amazing as a group. I remember during the season when they would sing together it was so off. Maybe b/c Jason didn’t seem enthused, Kristy isn’t the greatest and their styles just clashed. I’m not saying none of them can sing I just don’t think they sound great all together. The power house girls like Syesha and Carly wash out the other girls and the same goes for the David’s and Michael. Now put those 5 together and it works better but take out Kristy and Jason please! LOL Oh did you see the other David is back in the kaoroke bars doing shows…poor guy, they say he’ll be back stripping soon enough, I take it he didn’t land the broadway gig?!
