I must say that I do have to admire Clay Aiken’s willingness to go to Afghanistan and I am impressed by how hands-on he appeared to be. It was crazy to see him with a beard, though!

Good for him! It took guts to go into a warzone like that. I’m sure the beard and the clothes were to help him blend in as much as possible.
